Some stuff about me

I grew up in Jenks, Oklahoma (a small town next to Tulsa, a big town). After graduating from Jenks High School, I attended the University of Oklahoma where I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in December 2008. I have my bachelors degree in Film and Video Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies.

I now work for the University of Oklahoma at Web Communications as the Junior New Media Specialist. I do all things new media, including manage content packages for the web. It’s pretty much the greatest. Have you heard of Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram, Pinterest? Yeah, that’s my job.

I am also the founder and emeritus chair for the filmmaker’s group under the Norman Arts Council called Cinematic Artists of Norman. We are an all ages, all skills sets, all artists kind-of-group. In addition to holding workshops and lectures by industry professionals, we also produce projects as a collaborative effort.

I have experience producing, production coordinating, directing, and editing. This website is here to feature my work, receive feedback, and offer myself up for future projects that make their way to Oklahoma.
